Oh Canada! You know when you have found a place that feels like "home"? This- is one of them for me. Italy, Utah( by default) and my mothers home town of Vernon is another. The rolling hills, valleys, wine country, lots of lakes and pace of life. All brings peace to my heart and soul. If you have ever been to Tuscany- then you will know what the Okanagan Valley, in BC is like. Hanging baskets of over flowing flowers on every business establishment. Lush fruit stands and idyllic scenery everywhere you look. Truly heaven on earth in my opinion. While the drive- 22 hours is brutal, once you get there -you dont want to leave. The lake itself is a 3 hour drive from Vernon, wild, rustic- bear country. But beautiful. We had an incredible 9 days there and sad to be home. Here are a few photos of our days....
Tristan turned out to be a water bug. He jumped in and everyday got better and better. From needing help keeping his head up, to then running in and swimming by him self out to the dock...

Awww that looks so fun! I love canada!! And seeing your swimsuit picture I would have to refute that you have "5 extra pounds" on your waistline. Crazy girl.... :)
