Worst ER experience ever! So when one has a migraine and in serious pain, do you think as a nurse, technician etc, you would speak loudly, keep lights on, bang doors coming and going? Yea me either! My 3 day headache broken up only a few hours at a time with medication only to come back ended late last night with a trip to the ER. On the pain scale it was an 8. The only time I say my headaches are a 10 on that pain scale is when I start to throw-up with them. So I was a little peeved when I was asked to take my clothes off( why you only need my arm!) Lights were on, people were talking loud, lots of comings and goings with DR, Nurses, Techs, Patient reps! GRRR
I also realized that I have an averse reaction to one of the drugs in the "cocktail" of stuff they give. Again I was not only totally out of it, but unable to control the "feeling of crawling out of my skin" for hours. I awoke out of a stupor angry, upset and even annoyed at Jonathan! Can you imagine! Here he had to take the day off, and took care of Tristan, me etc and I have the nerve to be upset with him! CRAZY.
Today im pain free, but still feel like the walking dead. The upside is that I now have another daily preventative medication used by cardio patients that people with migraines are seeing success with. GREAT! I love being a science experiment!
