slowing fading
Its been a while...
But its also almost been 10 years since I started my online family journal. Ill be 40 next week. Its time to slow things down. I really have this year set in motion some life altering decisions and part of that is to maintain authentic relationships with those in my life - starting with not connecting so frequently with folks only through social media. And if I cant stop the madness of it and or continue my online presence in lieu of face to face or phone calls, then I am no different. So I may post here and there, but with more discernment around what I share. I would love to eliminate facebook as well, but there are a few out of state friends and family that we really do rely on that medium to share updates so alas. But my blog...my personal blog where for years was a solace for my own thoughts and way to keepsake photo memories...its time to take a step back. Social media has become a necessary evil, sure...but at 40 I have less interest in sharing my life, and parading anything with my family in a public forum. I am more comfortable in my skin than I have ever been before and really truly look in the mirror and proud of who I have become in my life. Oh there is much to learn and do still....so much actually that I feel like Ill need several lives to get it all done, but it certainly wont happen by worrying about likes, followers, and anything to do with online social media. Its just not me.
However- that being said...here are a few shots of our latest family pictures. Its the best...so much personality around my boys. They make my life complete. So so much happiness is about being their mother. How I love them all so much.

July updates
July we took a vacation....to Cali. Fun times were had. Its been a month of the grind of summer, late nights, swimming, no chores being done, just a lot of down time and relaxing. The summer is slowly coming to an end....school starts in 2 weeks. While Im looking forward to some routine I do have to admit...summer is very short here in Utah. Spring lasts, summer is short and hot, and then fall is here before I know it. I love summer, the long days, extra sun light, ample opportunity to be with the kids and hike, camp etc.
